Sit down with your itty-bitties and make a gift for family and friends! Hop on Tik Tok, Pinterest, or our Mia Belle Blog Activities section for ideas on creative things you can craft and give as a family. Not to mention how proud your little one will be to say, "I made it myself!"

December 3 - Coats and Toys for Kids Day
We know you're getting your little girl all new cardigans and sweaters this year, but what will you do with her lightly used ones? Today is about giving what you can, so as your prepping to clean out her closet, take them and maybe a few toys and donate them to local schools, community centers, or charitable organizations in your area. It's a wonderful way to teach the importance of giving.

December 5 - Communicate with your Kids Day
Have you ever, just like, sat with your children and talked to them about themselves? It's such a marvelous thing! Take today to ask your kids about their favorite activities, books, TV shows, games, and general interests. Looking for a way to break the ice? Go through your family photos and talk about what was happening when you took them.

December 6 - St. Nicholas Day
Based on the generous Saint of the same name, this day reminds us to be giving, kind, and selfless to those in need. Modern-day Santa Claus himself is based on his generosity, so today would make the perfect day to have a Secret Santa gift exchange with family and friends. It's also a great day to volunteer and give back to your community.

December 8 - Pretend to be a Time Traveler Day
Take today to hop in a Dolorean or TARDIS and travel through time with your little girl. Watch movies and TV shows that play with the idea of traveling to a different period, or pretend to travel yourselves. Will you go to the past or the future? Treat everyday objects as if you've never seen them before. We'll see you when you get back!
 

December 12 - Gingerbread House Day
We smell sweet memories about to be made today! Gingerbread houses are always a delight to assemble and maybe even nibble while you craft. Find sets at your local grocery store or double the fun by baking them from scratch. Make it a friendly contest to see who can make the biggest or fanciest design. And enjoy all the smiles.

December 13 - National Cocoa Day
Move over, pumpkin spice latte; today is the day for the hot chocolate drinkers! Get cozy on the couch with your favorite drink mug and a full cup of cocoa with all the fixings. Try out different toppings to create the best flavor profile and sip sweetly with your sweetpea.

December 14 - International Monkey Day
Created back in the year 2,000, this holiday celebrates all things simian. Apes, tarsiers, lemurs, and well monkeys from all over the world are honored today. Explore the different non-human primates of the planet with your little learner and see if they end the day with a new appreciation, if not a new favorite animal.

December 16 - Ugly Sweater Day
Ever since 2011, Ugly Sweater Day has taken the world by storm. The goofy holiday has gone from less-than-fashionable looks to literal bells, whistles, and sometimes lights and only gets bigger every year. While we here at Mia Belle Girls don't do ugly ANYTHING, we do have some cute Mommy & Me tops, sweaters, and cardigans that will fit the bill.

December 20 - Go Caroling Day
How cute would it be to see your kids caroling this Christmas season? And after a year of them mostly inside, there is a lot to sing about! Put a new spin on an old tradition with your merry munchkins' favorite wintertime tunes like "Let It Go" or "Santa Shark" and serenade your neighborhood.

December 21 - First Day of Winter
Today's the shortest day of the year for the Northern Hemisphere and the official start of winter (We wish someone would've told the weather)! It is also known as the Winter Solstice. Spend the day doing your favorite cold-weather activities like building snowmen, decorating, or taking a nap on the couch if that's your thing.

December 27 - Visit the Zoo Day
Have an animal lover in your family? Need a break from opening gifts and over-eating? Pack the family into the car and head to the zoo! It's a great way to get some exercise while learning, laughing, and making fun memories. Don't forget to take lots of pictures and talk about your favorite parts!

December 28 -Thank You Card Day
Take inventory of all the wonderful gifts you and your family have gotten this year, then sit down with them and make thank you cards. Have each person pick a gift-giver to make a card for and create something special for them. Teaching thankfulness is just as important as getting gifts on Christmas. Thank a loved one with a thoughtful card!
